Job Summary
Perform nuclear medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under physician direction. Prepare patients, administer prescribed radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, and perform calculations and data manipulations per established parameters. Ensure proper ordering of radioactive materials, calibrate equipment, assure quality control, and monitor patients. Execute other duties as assigned while maintaining Oregon licensure or certification requirements. This role offers per-diem variable shifts at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, with a base pay range of $49.65 to $77.08.
Required Qualifications
- Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
- Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
