Job Summary

Conduct health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment, performing a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures and computer processing of data to produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services while maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Work 80-hour day shifts in a full-time capacity at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. This role is part of a comprehensive medical center known for outstanding programs in cancer, cardiology, and neonatal intensive care, serving as a not-for-profit network dedicated to caring for vulnerable communities.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year
  • Work 80-hour, Day shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program)
