Job Summary

Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, transport and prepare patients, administer isotope dosages, explain procedures, and monitor patients during scans. Responsibilities include maintaining gamma cameras and equipment, performing quality control, coordinating exam schedules with other tests, and using Radiology Information System (RIS) and hospital information systems. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to departmental policies, ongoing professional development, on-call coverage for Nuclear Medicine procedures, and participation in safety and infection control standards. Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, completion of ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification within 6 months of graduation, and BLS at time of hire. The position is PRN with varied work shifts at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM.
