Job Summary

Perform nuclear medicine procedures using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment, including computer processing of data and technical tasks to produce images for licensed practitioners. Exercise professional judgment in service performance while maintaining medical ethics and providing appropriate care essential for successful procedure completion. This role is full-time with day shifts at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital, a Newsweek Best-In-State hospital recognized for excellence in 11 care types. The team delivers patient-focused, whole-person care within a not-for-profit network serving over 50 hospitals across the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program)
