Job Summary
Plan, organize, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a Supervisor and guidance of a Lead Technologist. Fulfill all duties required by department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards. This Per Diem role involves 8-hour Day Shifts at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange. Candidates must hold a Nuclear Medicine training program graduate degree, National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification, California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification, and National Provider BLS certification. The position offers a base pay range of $51.76 to $80.34 with opportunities for shift differentials and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with cameras/computers of the same manufacturer as those at St. Joseph hospital
- Infant through older adult nuclear medicine procedure experience
- Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
