Job Summary
Plan, organize, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under general supervision. Fulfill all duties required by department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards. Maintain certification as a National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist. Complete BLS training with the American Heart Association. Work 8-hour day shifts on a per diem basis at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Per Diem
- 8-hour Day Shifts
- Under general supervision of the Supervisor
- guidance of the Lead Technologist
- perform all necessary duties and functions related to planning, organizing and performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
- fulfill all duties required by the department quality assurance, Federal, State and JCAHO Standards
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with cameras/computers of the same manufacturer as those at St. Joseph hospital
- Infant through older adult nuclear medicine procedure experience
- Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
