Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary
Perform nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, thyroid, liver, spleen, hepatobiliary, renal, and lung scans; manage radiopharmaceuticals and quality control; operate and troubleshoot equipment; ensure patient safety, documentation, and compliance with departmental guidelines; participate in reporting and continuing education to maintain certification; relocation benefits and sign-on bonus available; employment location in Sudbury, Ontario with opportunities to travel to other WELL Health Diagnostic Centres.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province
- Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate
- Maintain competence in position by attending staff meetings
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- good command of the English language and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work varying shifts and work independently as well as part of a team
- Self-evaluate performance and participate in yearly staff performance review
