Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist for mobile cardiac imaging in Arizona. Performs cardiac nuclear imaging procedures, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment, and ensures radiation safety and imaging quality. Collaborates with Cardiac Stress Technicians and clinic staff, supporting outpatient cardiology locations and mobile imaging operations across multiple clinic sites. On scheduled days, typically works 8+ hour day shifts, primarily Tuesday–Thursday, ~2 days per week with a consistent clinic or mobile rotation. Requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, active Arizona Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (or ability to obtain), current BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license. Education & Experience: degree or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology; 1+ year of nuclear medicine imaging experience preferred, especially cardiac imaging; QA experience on nuclear medicine equipment preferred. Physical: able to stand for extended periods and assist with mobile equipment; capable of traveling to clinic locations as needed. Work Environment: physician offices, outpatient clinics, and hospital settings as part of MDOS AZ’s mobile imaging program.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
- Active Arizona Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Degree or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
