Job Summary

Provide quality diagnostic images with accuracy and efficiency by administering radionuclides, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment to ensure minimal repeat rates. Process computer images, develop films, and present findings to physicians while gathering complete documentation and logging activities. Perform quality control and assurance, maintain radiation safety standards, and start IVs to administer medications under direction. Identify patients, review charts, and transport patients using standard procedures across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Practice professional conduct, maintain confidentiality, and take initiative to stay current with education and certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Radiologic Technology program with Nuclear Medicine Specialty
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registration in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N)
  • Current state license in Nuclear Medicine
  • Current Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers

Desired Qualifications

  • One-year experience in Nuclear Medicine
