Job Summary
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I, you’ll assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating nuclear medicine equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic scans. This role includes performing duties under the guidance of experienced staff, maintaining safety protocols for nuclear medicine procedures, and contributing to a supportive, patient-centered care team at Novant Health in Wilmington, NC. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree preferred
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine program required
- Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB (RT(N) or CNMT) required
- IV credentialed and state licensed (as applicable) required
- One year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred
