Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist I at Geisinger Cancer Center (Dickson City, PA). Responsibilities include administering ionizing and nonionizing radiation, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing hybrid imaging (PET-CT and SPECT-CT) for diagnostic, therapeutic, radiotheranostic, or research purposes, ensuring ALARA and patient safety, evaluating image quality, and assisting/educating students and other health care providers. The role requires certification by NMTCB or ARRT-N (N), a radiologic technology education program (preferred Bachelor's degree), and a minimum of 5 years related experience. The position operates in a clinical environment with day shifts and a 40-hour work week, and includes a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible applicants. Required Qualifications
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N)
- Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required)
- Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB or ARRT-N
