Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Full-time, Day Shift

Job Summary

Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radioisotope equipment. Calculate doses for radiologists, administer intravenous injections, and perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Document radioactive material usage, survey equipment, and obtain patient information while disseminating preparation instructions. Elevate clinical questions to senior staff for direction. Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control. Requires a Nuclear Medicine diploma or preferred Bachelor's degree, plus state licensing and ARRT/NMTCB certification. Full-time day shift role at Adventist Health Sonora.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification in CA and HI
  • ARRT or National Nuclear Med Tech (NMTCB) certification
  • Venipuncture (IV) certification
  • All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
  • Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology
