Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Full-time, Day Shift

Job Summary

Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radioisotope equipment. Calculate doses for radiologists, perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, and coordinate patient flow while maintaining quality control. Document radioactive material usage, survey facilities, and obtain patient information to disseminate preparation instructions. Elevate clinical questions to senior staff as needed. Requires a state nuclear medicine license, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and venipuncture certification. Full-time day shift position with vaccinations required.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification in CA and HI
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • Venipuncture (IV) certification
  • All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
  • Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology
