Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Full-time, Day Shift

Job Summary

Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radioisotope equipment. Calculate doses for radiologists, execute blood volume and fat absorption studies, and perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Coordinate patient flow, document radioactive material usage, and survey areas per departmental procedures. Obtain patient information and disseminate preparation instructions to care areas. Elevate clinical questions to senior staff for direction. Requires a Nuclear Medicine diploma/certificate, state license, and ARRT/NMTCB certification. Full-time day shift role at Adventist Health Sonora.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification in CA and HI
  • ARRT or National Nuclear Med Tech (NMTCB) certification
  • Venipuncture (IV) certification
  • All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
  • Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology
