Job Summary
Conduct hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while strictly adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators and perform QC procedures on gamma cameras, notifying the lead technologist of any malfunctions. Identify patients via IP and OP per hospital SOPs before initiating procedures and assist the nuclear physician with special imaging implementations. Maintain friendly, courteous interactions with physicians, patients, families, and co-workers while abiding by federal, state, and hospital standards. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week, with overtime available as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Day Shift, 40 hours/week
- Full Time Schedule
- Works overtime when needed
