Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FT-Day), Somerville NJ

Conduct all hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals per vendor and regulatory rules. Calibrate the dose calibrator, perform QC on gamma cameras, and notify the lead tech of any malfunctions. Identify patients before procedures, explain processes clearly, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Assist the nuclear physician with special imaging procedures and ensure test results are accurate before patient release. Maintain a clean department condition, accept special assignments from supervisors, and work overtime when needed.
