Job Summary
Receive, use, and discard radio-pharmaceuticals while strictly adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators and perform quality control procedures on gamma cameras, notifying the lead technologist of any malfunctions. Identify patients via IP and OP protocols before initiating procedures and assist the nuclear physician with special imaging implementations. Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulatory standards while providing courteous assistance to physicians, patients, and visitors. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week, including overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Day Shift, 40 hours/week
- Full Time Schedule
- Works overtime when needed
