Job Summary
Manage hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals per vendor and regulatory rules. Calibrate dose calibrators, perform gamma camera QC, and notify leads of malfunctions. Identify patients by IP and OP, explain procedures clearly, and obtain optimal images using prescribed parameters. Assist nuclear physicians with special imaging procedures and ensure test validity before patient release. Maintain a clean department environment, accept special assignments, and perform non-technical tasks as directed. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Must possess a current NJ State license
- ARRT certification
- NMTCB certification
- BLS certification
- Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Day Shift
- 40 hours/week
- Full Time Schedule
- Works overtime when needed
