Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FT-Day), Somerville NJ

Conduct all hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate the dose calibrator, perform QC procedures on gamma cameras, and notify the lead technologist of any malfunctions. Identify patients per IP and OP SOPs, explain procedures clearly, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Assist the nuclear physician with special imaging procedures, ensure test validity before patient release, and maintain a clean department environment. Accept special assignments, work overtime as needed, and perform other duties prescribed by supervisory personnel.
