Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FT-Day), Somerville NJ

Conduct hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators, perform gamma camera quality control, and notify leads of malfunctions. Identify patients per SOP, explain procedures to ensure comfort, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Validate test results before release and assist physicians with special imaging procedures. Maintain a clean department, accept special assignments, and respond to instruction from peers or superiors to complete department tasks. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week, with overtime available as needed.
