Manage hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators, perform gamma camera quality control, and notify leads of malfunctions. Identify patients per hospital SOPs, explain procedures to ensure patient comfort, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Validate test results before release and assist physicians with special imaging procedures. Maintain a clean department, accept special assignments, and work overtime as needed.
