Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FT-Day), Somerville NJ

Conduct all hot lab functions including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators, perform gamma camera quality control, and notify leads of any malfunctions. Identify patients per hospital SOP before procedures, explain protocols clearly, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Assist physicians with special imaging procedures, ensure test validity prior to release, and maintain a clean department environment. Accept special assignments from supervisors, work overtime as needed, and perform other departmental duties as prescribed.
