Nuclear Medicine Technologist (FT-Day), Somerville NJ

Conduct all hot lab functions, including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals while strictly adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate the dose calibrator and perform gamma camera quality control procedures, notifying the lead technologist of any issues. Identify patients before procedures, explain protocols to ensure patient comfort, and obtain optimal images using prescribed technical parameters. Validate test results for accuracy prior to release and assist the nuclear physician with special imaging procedures. Maintain a clean department environment, accept special assignments from supervisors, and respond promptly to instruction from peers or superiors. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week.
