Receive, use, and discard radio-pharmaceuticals while strictly adhering to vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate dose calibrators, perform quality control on gamma cameras, and notify leads of any malfunctions. Identify patients before procedures, explain processes clearly, and obtain optimal images using prescribed techniques. Assist physicians with special imaging procedures and ensure all tests are valid and accurate prior to release. Maintain a clean department, accept special assignments, and perform non-technical tasks as prescribed. Work a full-time day shift of 40 hours per week with a $12,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants.
