Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist role performing all nuclear medicine and radiographic exams in the Austin area with flexibility to work at multiple sites. Primary duties include patient positioning and imaging, venipuncture, explanation of exams and radiation safety to patients, EKG lead placement, QA and data handling for NM studies, ensuring images and notes transmit to PACS per policy, and collaboration with radiologists. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)
- CPR, BLS, MRT, CEU credits maintained
- ACLS preferred
- Must be proficient in venipuncture
- Knowledge of cardiac EKG setup
- QA procedures regarding maintenance of hot lab and imaging devices
- Familiarity with ADAC/Phillips equipment
