Job Summary
Operates nuclear medicine imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis and treatment, with a focus on high-quality imaging and radiation safety. Requires NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (with state licensure as applicable), graduation from an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical hours, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Part-time days shift (7:00 AM–4:30 PM) at Mercy Hospital Springfield, with some weekend/holiday coverage and no on-call duties. Emphasizes patient communication, safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical hours completed
- One year of relevant experience
- State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification/registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
