Job Summary

Check, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals before administering them to patients intravenously, orally, or by inhalation. Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, conduct imaging procedures, and maintain reliable records under Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines. Administer various technical procedures requiring independent judgment to diagnose and treat disease. Complete required orientations for site personnel, department specifics, IV training, and radiation safety. Work a day shift, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • NJ State license
  • Registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.M.T.C.B., or Registry eligible Maintain required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
  • Successful completion of IV training class
  • Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS
  • Day Shift
  • Part-Time
  • 20 hours per week
