Job Summary
Check, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals before administering them to patients via intravenous, oral, or inhalation routes. Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, conduct imaging procedures, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a supervisor or radiologist. Maintain reliable records in compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines and complete required orientations for radiation safety, IV training, and site personnel. Work a day shift, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- NJ State license
- Registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.M.T.C.B., or Registry eligible Maintain required
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
- Successful completion of IV training class
- Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS
- Day Shift
- Part-Time
- 20 hours per week
