Job Summary
Perform basic to advanced nuclear medicine procedures including general, cardiac, therapy and PET/CT; prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications by clinician prescription; conduct venipuncture and peripheral IV placement; ensure ALARA practices and maintain dosing records; process and label post-processed images; input patient/study data into RIS and ensure accurate billing codes; support accreditation efforts and act as a technical resource/preceptor for staff; assist with equipment QA, and adapt to patient age-specific needs while maintaining safety and quality throughout the imaging workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT) issued by the NMTCB, or Nuclear Medicine Tech (N) registration issued by ARRT (within 1 year)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA (within 6 months)
- Bachelor's Degree in Neurophysiology or Biology or related field
- No experience required
