Job Summary
Execute therapeutic and diagnostic imaging procedures to capture high-quality, precise images essential for accurate radiologist and physician interpretation. Manage specialized imaging equipment and perform accurate patient positioning while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Handle radiopharmaceuticals by accurately ordering, preparing, and administering them in strict adherence to all established radiation safety and disposal protocols. Maintain the integrity of patient records by promptly ensuring all high-quality images and related data are accurately submitted to PACS. Combine compassionate care with up-to-date technical knowledge to provide patients with a sense of trust and reassurance. Day shift full-time role at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Ambulatory department.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
