Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist 1 (Per Diem) at UW Medical Center—Montlake/Northwest seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in nuclear medicine to perform complex diagnostic examinations such as lymphoscintigraphy, treadmill cardiac perfusion, and pharmacologic stress cardiac perfusion. The role requires tailoring examinations to individual patients in collaboration with physicians, exercising advanced technical knowledge in nuclear medicine, and providing work direction within the area of expertise. Requires graduation from a JRCNMT-approved program and certification by NMTCB or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, plus state Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine licensure in Washington. Full-time shifts with per diem scheduling, including weekend call, 6:30am–7pm clinic hours and 8–10 hour shifts; initial 40 hours/week for training followed by 2–3 days per week on average. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) and certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine
- Certification as Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine in the State of Washington
- licensure or registration as required by law for nuclear medicine practice
