Job Summary
Execute therapeutic and diagnostic imaging procedures to capture high-quality, precise images essential for accurate radiologist and physician interpretation. Manage and operate specialized imaging equipment, perform accurate patient positioning to ensure image quality and patient comfort, and handle radiopharmaceuticals by accurately ordering, preparing, and administering them in strict adherence to radiation safety and disposal protocols. Maintain the integrity of patient records by promptly submitting high-quality images and related data to PACS. Combine compassionate care with up-to-date technical knowledge to provide patients with trust and reassurance.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
