Job Summary
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure safe and accurate image acquisition for disease diagnosis and treatment. Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Requires ARRT or NMTCB certification within six months of hire, alongside an accredited nuclear medicine technology program graduate degree or higher. Schedule includes 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
- meets the eligibility requirements for certification
- Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Associate's Degree or higher
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Work Hours: 8a-6:30p (Tues-Fri)
