Job Summary
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures to provide quality images for radiologist and physician interpretation. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain equipment functionality by reporting malfunctions and performing lock/tag-out procedures when appropriate. Submit applications with proof of Nuclear Medicine program completion, ARRT-N/CNMT credential, BLS HCP certification, and relevant IEMA certifications. Complete credentialing within six months of hire date. Work part-time PRN shifts during day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Nuclear Medicine program
- ARRT-N/CNMT credential within 6 months of hire date
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- Radiologic Technologists – Temporary Accreditation - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
