Job Summary
Assist the nuclear physician with the implementation of special imaging procedures and calibrate the dose calibrator while performing QC procedures on gamma cameras per departmental protocols. Identify patients per hospital SOP before starting any procedure and perform all hot lab functions, including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals following vendor, departmental, and DEP rules. Adhere to standards established by the hospital, state, and federal regulatory agencies. This full-time day position includes 40 hours per week and offers a $12,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Abides by standards established by the hospital, state and federal regulatory agencies
Desired Qualifications
- Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred
