Job Summary
Assist the nuclear physician with the implementation of special imaging procedures and perform all hot lab functions, including receiving, using, and discarding radio-pharmaceuticals per vendor, departmental, and DEP regulations. Calibrate the dose calibrator and execute QC procedures on gamma cameras, notifying the lead tech of any malfunctions. Identify patients (IP and OP) per hospital SOP before initiating procedures and strictly adhere to standards established by the hospital, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with two years of hospital experience preferred.
