Job Summary
Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging, operate gamma cameras and PET equipment, and explain procedures to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and privacy protocols, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses. Perform quality control checks on equipment, maintain accurate patient records and usage logs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Requires CNMT or ARRT (N) certification, an accredited nuclear medicine degree, and 1–2 years of experience. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification or ARRT (N) certification required
- Current state license (if applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and safe handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
