Job Summary
Prepare and administer radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, including performing IV punctures and injecting radiopharmaceuticals. Scan patients using gamma cameras to obtain diagnostic images of various organ systems. Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, review clinical histories, and position patients for imaging. Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete exams while adhering to state and federal regulations. This part-time role (20 hours) at St. James Hospital supports the clinical team in delivering best-in-class patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School
- minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training
- Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
