Job Summary
Review patient history and physician orders, prepare and educate patients, and administer radiopharmaceuticals while operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures. Evaluate image quality, monitor patients throughout procedures, and respond to medical emergencies including venipuncture and Basic Life Support (BLS). Provide daily leadership, coordinate workflow and staffing assignments, and serve as the primary clinical resource for staff through education, mentoring, and coaching. Assist with onboarding new employees, monitor department productivity and quality metrics, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards. Start at $42.75 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and company-paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners license
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or preceptor experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team while maintaining exceptional patient care and professionalism
