Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist needed for full-time, 40-hour weekly schedule (four 10-hour shifts Tue-Fri, Wall, NJ) in outpatient radiology. Responsibilities include operating imaging, survey, and computer-based image development equipment; administering radiopharmaceuticals by injection or oral route; performing static, dynamic, and invitro scans; conducting radiation surveys per NRC/NJ Health rules; assisting patients on/off table and using lift devices; participating in staff meetings and adhering to office safety and privacy policies; maintaining documentation and performing related technical/clerical duties to ensure efficient operation. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, NJDEP licenses for Nuclear Medicine Technology and X-ray/Limited CT Fusion, ARRT CNMT/CT or Radiography registry (or registry-eligible), and current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and patient-care skills required. Compensation and benefits package available; rates vary with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduates of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Licensed by the NJDEP for Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Licensed by the NJDEP for Xray or Limited CT Fusion
- Registered or registry-eligible by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine Technology or registered by the CNMT registry
- Registered or registry eligible by ARRT in CT or Radiography
- Current and valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification
