Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under physician supervision. Assess, interact, and care for specific patient populations while demonstrating knowledge of growth and development. Maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification and complete a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program. Hold a minimum of seven years of current nuclear medicine experience and possess Basic Life Support/CPR and Florida Radiologic Tech licenses. Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification
- completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program
- minimum of seven (7) years of current nuclear medicine experience
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
Desired Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography (CT) registry
- previous nuclear cardiology experience
