Perform nuclear medicine imaging and in-vitro laboratory procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Receive and process patient information, using independent judgment to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort, and protection. Assist the radiologist and attending physician, communicate effectively, and maintain a clean and safe environment through proper equipment care. Stay abreast of professional changes through continuing education programs. Expected to take call in any area after competency requirements are met. Requires ARRT licensure or NMTCB and CPR certification.
