Job Summary
Perform all types of nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapy on patients under the direction of an authorized radiologist. Confers with physicians on unclear orders, verifies patient identity, and explains procedures prior to exams. Orders radiopharmaceuticals, documents radioactive material receipts and disposals per NRC and DOT regulations, and prepares assays for administration. Conducts daily equipment surveys, collects flood data, and performs calibration checks using Gamma cameras. Prepares necessary paperwork for radiologist review and maintains confidentiality in compliance with Methodist Hospitals' ethical standards. Requires ARRT/NMTCB registration, Indiana State License, and Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in performing all Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Must be registered by ARRT and/or NMTCB
- Must have Indiana State License
- Healthcare/Medical - Nuclear Medicine

- Certified Nuclear Med Tech
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
