Job Summary
Assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after procedures in the Nuclear Medicine Department. Evaluate and maintain a quality control program for all instrumentation to ensure proper performance and stability. Utilize appropriate techniques to ensure quality diagnostic images and laboratory results. Procure, prepare, calculate doses, document, administer, and safely handle radioactive materials while disposing of them according to protocol. Assist authorized users in applying and managing radiotherapeutic procedures. Educate the public and healthcare personnel on minimizing radiation exposure consistent with ALARA principles. Requires ARRT (R), ARRT (N), or CNMT registration; BCLS required. 1st shift, Crestwood Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT (R) registered
- ARRT (N) registered
- CNMT registered
- BCLS
