Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Execute all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines. This role requires either CNMT or NMTCB registration, BLS certification, and thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals. No prior experience is needed. Work as a PRN provider at Piedmont Newnan Hospital with variable scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Either CNMT or NMTCB registered
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations
