Job Summary
The Nuclear Med Tech operates Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic purposes under the direction of Radiologists. Responsibilities include performing scans as requested by physicians and adhering to established standards and practices. Candidates must hold an Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution or military Nuclear Medicine program, possess active licensure in Kentucky, and have certification through NMTCB or ARRT. BLS certification is preferred upon hire and required within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification preferred upon hire; required within 90 days
