Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies, and Procedures while adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Execute all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines. Maintain BLS certification and possess thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals. Requires CNMT or NMTCB registration. Work as a PRN role at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Either CNMT or NMTCB registered
- BLS Certified
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations
