Job Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates Nuclear Medicine equipment for diagnostic purposes as directed by Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards. An Associate's degree from an accredited institution or graduation from the military's Nuclear Medicine Program is required, along with active licensure in Kentucky and appropriate certification. Additional skills include BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible
