Job Summary
Develop specifications for mechanical equipment and components for nuclear power plants; prepare and review modification design change packages; perform and review calculations; provide expert advice on design processes and construction methods; serve as responsible engineer on small to medium sized engineering design changes. Requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 2-10+ years of engineering experience; working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear power plant design; export-control compliance requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Positions are direct hire and can be onsite, hybrid, or fully remote with minimal travel (up to 5%).
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-10+ years of Engineering experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations that apply to the design of nuclear power plants
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident due to export control laws
