Job Summary
Nuclear Intelligence Analyst responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting all-source research to produce finished intelligence products and customized briefings for senior policymakers. Responsibilities include interfacing with the IC and National Laboratories to create technically sound assessments, coordinating interagency products, monitoring open-source reporting for mission relevance, and supporting briefings to senior personnel and policy customers. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with nuclear or radiological security issues, experience handling large information sets, and a Bachelor’s Degree with additional Master’s Degree as a plus; active DOE Q or TS clearance and polygraph may be required. Salary range $80,000–$115,000; position located in Washington, DC. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline such as nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, international relations, or political science. Possession of a Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Active DOE Q or TS clearance
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form
- Experience with analysis of technical and scientific data related to nuclear policy, security, or nonproliferation
